I ran across a series of articles written by foreigners living in Finland, here. One of them said (not quite truthfully) that Finns mix heavy metal with anything and everything, and even succeed with it, like this:
Opera + Metal = Nightwish.
Love + Metal = HIM.
Cellos + Metal = Apocalyptica.
Eurovision Song Contest + Metal = Lordi

Unrelated picture of the day: Pithaya!
Found in a local supermarket, my pithaya looks like some escaped deep sea creature, something from a Jules Verne book or Avatar film. Whether I'm actually going to TASTE it is yet to be decided... Any pointers about what I should do with it? How to eat it? With what?
