[He blinked slowly as the bright light reflected off of the vast waters and white sand. This was most definitely not a stretch of a recent Hawkzile race and Teito was certainly not centimeters from within his grasp.]

[He stood and brushed off his uniform. It would likely take two or three washes to get the ridiculous amount of sand out of his pristine uniform. Well, he might as well figure out where it is he was. There was work to be done. And if he wasn't home, which he was 99.9% sure he wasn't, then he certainly needed to work on getting back and finishing his job.]
