[Talking to Cyriana had done nothing but make the situation worse, really. She had nothing to say that he didn't already know, except for the fact that supposedly even she'd lost track of Azaria since the hurricane. Honestly though, he wasn't sure if he actually believed that. It was hard to trust in either of the "good" mermaids when, despite their power, they had always waited to pick up the pieces until after all the damage had been done. Regardless of the fact the sisters were equals, Azaria had managed to get rid of Thalassa once. She should have done so again, rather than making a compromise Thalassa would get tired of holding to.
But why should Azaria worry about that, right? After all, it was those stuck on the island that got all the fallout--not the queen herself.
