Excitement
So I've applied to at least a dozen jobs @ OSU over the years. And have never received a response or anything ever. Until today. I recevied an email for an Associate Editor position. It's just a basic "We're reviewing applications and wanted to let you know.."blah blah...
AND now I have a name, phone # and email address of an actual person there. So OF COURSE I'm calling them tomorrow. I need someone to *highfive*.
(It probably helps that I listed wonderbreadwop as a reference, and she's an OSU employee).
At work tonight, I was also thinking that I should really finally go back to school and get my Masters. I was thinking that I will look into a couple programs locally, and hopefully find one that I like (and then of course get accepted in to...).. in which case I'd step down from my current position @ work but stay with the company in a much less stressful position. Of course, if I get a job @ OSU, I'm going to try and work on my master's there.
