Rant Time!
Here's something that pisses me off:
Has anyone noticed that whenever people talk about movies, they talk about the lead actor on the basis of whether he's a good actor or not, what kind of role he played, etc, but when they get to describing the woman, it's all about her looks? I remember a specific conversation where someone was going on and on about how an actor did in some movie, then gets to the girl and says "yea, i didn't remember her name, she wasn't all that attractive." Now, that really pisses me off.... don't get me wrong, I don't like feminists and I hate to sound all Gloria Steinham, but holy shit do people even listen to themselves when they talk? It really bothers me that no one cares how talented a woman is, just what she looks like. I know this is nothing new, and anyone who is reading this is probably thinking "duh" but it was never so clear to me before.
