Asian-ism 101
Summertime sucks so much. There's never anything to do....especially if you asian. This is Asian-ism 101, or as I like to call it, "Organized Hell". All your parents want you to do all summer is stay in the house and study. They don't give a shit if you have a social life. They think that they are doing (and for some reason think that they claim to "know") what's best for you. Why don't they just leave you the fuck alone? Buggin' you about stayin in school and all that shit. Talkin' about how they never had an education like we have, how it was hard for them, and you know what pisses me off?...how sometimes they use the fact that you're their only son/daughter. It's bad enough they take you on a fuckin' guilt trip for some stupid shit, but it's even worse when they compare you to someone else. You don't want to listen to it, but in reality, you ARE trying to be like that person, not because someone compared you to them, but because that individual is somewhat of a role model for you.
