So I'm totally in love with Eyeshield 21 . . .
. . . which is about as OOC as I can get (a FOOTBALL MANGA???) but I adore it anyway. Mostly for Hiruma and Mamori. But Monta and Sena rock too. Hiruma and Mamori just have such great dynamics, tho'. Not bsurprisingly, the thing I like least about the manga is the football, thought I have gotten -really- into it, lately. I honestly want to have more filler episodes. I love just seeing their characters bounce off eachother . . .
Haven't posted on here in ages. I wasn't planning to, but I was looking for a 30kisses thingy, and my journal felt ignored. I'm such an awful parent . . . errr, author?
Two of my friends who know eachother on here met eachother in real life yesterday~! We all got along very well. My Mom had her Doctors without Borders Bazaar (aka, giant charity tag-sale) and I have officially shamed my family by buying more than we sold on our table. But it was all so cheap~! I got a bunch of incense (a Dollar) and free makeup and a lovely dress (2 bucks) and an antique Italian miniglobe (50 Cents) and hair combs for my Mom (1$) then from the book-sale, about twenty books for 4.50. Economy crash? What? I went on a spree for about ten bucks!
Although I did get Alice_Potato a . . . mini Jafar toy that squirted (read: dribbled) water if you passed a suspicious knob-button on it's back. O_o
And my brother got . . . the shirt.
There isn't much more to say about the shirt. It was red. It was eighties. It was puffy-sleeved. It was very definitely made for the feminine figure. Or at least, it was trying to make someone's figure feminine, what with the . .. wrinkles and belt to accentuate the, er, bust. Which Ave very definitely does not have.
But it was in the men's shirt section. Next to Suites and Hawaiian prints and ect, ect. And it was only 2$. Come on. Who could resist? I just didn't think he'd actually . . . put it on.
We have a video of it, somewhere. He has the most peculiar expression on his face. Like he's embarrassed and trying not to laugh and eating a sour lemon. It's great.
