Hey all..
Thanks for the messages of support, both about the ex and about the birdie.
On the ex front--have sent copies of the letters to his parents, to whom I've given full disclosure re: his mental illness. They are working with his psychiatrist, and his ex-therapist on these issues. NO danger of me contacting him though. *shudder*
On the birdie front--still v. sad, of course. Took his precious wee body to the taxidermist. Were he a cat or a dog, I'd find this creepy in excess. But since he's a tiny, wild bird, it seems somehow okay. Will take a few months, though, to get him back. :( Miss him lots. When I can afford it and can find a really good artist, I'm getting him tattooed on my shoulder.
So. All okay. Shitty day today, but nothing I can't take. I'm feart.
