i'm on a roll today.
for some reason my fingers are typing faster and faster
maybe it has to do with all the gallery descriptions i've been forced to write and re-write. usually, when i do school papers, my typing speed goes up (and my postings too if i remember correctly but it helps to keep my brain in order sometimes).

got my new DC shoes. these ones are the Madrids. olive green with baby blue accents.
picked up a new book too: Tiger Force.
about another group of american soldiers pulling a My Lai in vietnam.
also, there's a new magazine i found when i was in London.
really nice. it's part monthly magazine, part web-based reporting.
european-based, but geared towards an international (english-speaking) audience.
i was thinking about it during the movie yesterday afternoon.
the premier issue cover story is about Japan's Martime Self Defence Force:
Under its post-war constitution, Japan is not allowed a navy, army or air force, only Self Defence Forces. Yet, today, the country has one of the largest, most sophisticated fleets in the world with 47 destroyers and nine frigates. Historical tensions with North Korea and China have also seen the country increasingly debating its military future...
