(no subject)
For the first time in ages, I have been uninterested with reading my LJ friends page or posting.
I beleive it may be due to starting back at study. I am pretty overwhelmed by how much work we have been given, but to be quite honest it is my lack of organisation and tidiness at home that is restricting me from getting things doen smoother. Add onto this the fact my computer is quite dead and so currently three people are using the laptop.
Which is irritating me. My dream is to buy an ibook and place a lovely password on it to secure it as my own.
We intend to purchase one in a few months. Angie and i have decided to go mac since experiencing XP on this laptop. I have never used such a temperamental operating system before. I cannot even view file extensions! It also chooses when to show file names.
I am quite put off by it. And by owning large and lumpy computers. If we get an ibook I can take it with me upstairs if i want to remove myself from the lounge room. And to tafe!
I like the sound of this. A computer I can treat as a pet. Rather than be enslaved to one section of the home.
I promise to get back to posting soon. I am still adjusting.
