Summary: Desperate for Her daughter life, Hyukjae take a drastic decision to leave her boyfriend behind and start anew in a new city. She was hoping that her past will never haunt her. Her life starts to change drastically. She did find happiness but will she found love too?

Chapter 14b
Donghae groans when he feel pain on his head. His world is spinning and his head is heavy.
“Finally someone decide to wake up.” Come Sungmin voice. Donghae shut his eyes more.
“Min, not too loud. Ouch my head.” Donghae said palming his forehead.
“This is my normal voice mister. What is wrong with you these days? I didn’t know you’re a heavy drinker. Anything you wish to tell me?” Sungmin ask him straight to the point.
“What time is it?”
“1 pm. You’re not going to work I call your office and inform hyukjae already. So rest. Take your time. Shower and we will have a good talk later. No escaping. I know where I can find you so there is no use running away from me.”
Donghae can only sigh. Sungmin can read him like a plain book. No matter how hard he tries to mask his emotion Sungmin can tell in just once glance. So he nod his head and close his eyes just to have a little bit more rest that he need.

It was dinner and Donghae still at Sungmin’s place.
“How did I get here?” Donghae start the conversation. The silence is killing him.
“I take you here. I got a call from your phone. Actually the bartender at the club you went call. The last numbern you dial is me so he call me to get you. How do you think you end up on your bed everytime you pass out?” Sungmin said. Donghae mouth form an O. What Sungmin said just make him realized things that he didn’t pay much attention. He never question how he end up on his own bed after he goes wasted.
“What is going on with you?”
“I don’t know. I don’t have the answers.” Donghae said putting down his spoon; suddenly don’t have the appetite to eat anymore.
“Hae, there must be something. You don’t behave like this because of nothing. Are you having a hard time with work? Or is it about a woman?” Sungmin ask feeling concern about his bestfriend.
Donghae sigh again. “ Is it has anything to do with Hyukjae. I mean you start acting weird since she come to your live. Mind to share what’s in your head?”
Again Donghae answer him with a sigh and gain a hard slap on his head.
“Sungmin. That’s hurt.” Donghae whined.
“Well, sighing isn’t going to take you anywhere. I need answers and you better tell me or I’m going to have my people working on your problems.”
“Okay, okay. I don’t know seriously. She’s a witch.”
Sungmin eyebrows met. “Witch? She? Who is she?”
“Hyukjae. I think she did some funny spell on me. She’s not going anywhere *Pointing at his forehead* and I don’t know why I hate seeing her blushing and smiling and responding to Siwon. She’s not single. She’s a mother. She didn’t act like a mother. And that is not fair to Hana. And she’s different with me. but yet I can’t take my eyes off of her. I can’t stop thinking about her. I cant help but to worried if anything bad happen to her and Hana. I mean, what is she doing to me? This is not me. I am a strong man, full with egos and when she came, she turns my world upside down. Everything doesn’t fell right bt…”
“When she’s with you, you better, don’t you?” Sungmin help Donghae finish up his words.
Donghae groans in annoyance. He don’t want to admit it but that is what he feel inside.
“maybe she’s a witch. A good one, who finally can crack your hard heart and filling love in it bit by bit.” “Min, I’m serious. Please. I’m not in the mood for jokes.”
“I’m serious too. Believe it or not. You’re falling for her. Give it a chance. Don’t shove the feeling away. Take it like a man. I told you a thousand times. Hyukjae is a really nice person. She’s not like your exes. Promise.”
“I don’t know…”
“Just give it a try. I see you actually comfortable with her. All the harsh words and actions are just intended to hide your feeling. I mean you’ll hurt more when she’s finally belong to someone else. I see you now open up a little and even like to entertain Hana. My gut tell me your happiness is with them, Hae. Give it a try, buddy.” Sungmin said, patting Donghae’s shoulder.

On the next day, what Sungmin told him is still played in his head. He’s anxious to go to work since Hyukjae will be there. He takes time is choosing his clothing; wanting to be great in Hyukjae’s eyes.
He decided to take Sungmin’s advise. If it’s didn’t work out maybe he’ll have Hyukjae transfer to the other department; he thought about it through last nighy.
This is the first time he feel so helpless. He don’t know what to do. And it is becoming awkward between him and Hyukjae. He keep on stealing glances at Hyukjae but become more anxious when he sees like Hyukjae treat him like she alwayas do.. Doing her own business, keeping her eyes on her works and only talk to him when he ask her questions.
On hyukjae, that day is just like other day. Donghae will do his works and she’ll do hers and only talks to Donghae when it is necessary. She didn’t had a clue that Donghae is in dilemma about their situation. She just cant wait to home to Hana and rest.
“I’m going to send you home, today so…” Donghae suddenly said to Hyukjae.
“It’s okay, sir. I can take a cab.” Hyukjae decline in a polite manner.
“No!!!” Hyukjae was shock when she hear Donghae raise his voice.
“Sorry.” He quickly apologise when he sees Hyukjae’s get scared because of him. “I mean, I insist. I haven’t see Hana for a while.”
Hyukjae nod her head not wanting to upset her boss.
The ride in the car was quiet. The awkwardness is in the maximum level.
“Should we listen to the music?” Donghae speaks and Hyukjae nod but keep her eyes out of the window.

“Mommy, welcome home…” Hana runs to her mommy and jumps on her. “Hana you should stop doing that or we both will get hurt.” Hyukjae said in between her kisses on Hana’s cheeks.
“But I love jump up on mommy and give mommy a hug.”
“Okay, little princess but less jump okay, more hugs. What will you say?”
“Okay. UNCLE HAE!!!” She quickly jump down from Hyukjae’s embrace and goes to Donghae.
“I miss you. Are you coming to play with Hana? Let’s go to Hana’s room. I have a lot if new toys..” Hana said excitedly and drag Donghae to her room.
“Where is Aunt Jessica?” Donghae ask when he can’t find her anywhere. “She go home for a while. Mommy said there are things that she need to do.” Hana keep on showing Donghae new cars and doll. She then bring her toys to the living room and force Donghae to play tea party with her there.
While Hana is keeping Donghae busy, Hyukjae decide to take a shower and refresh herself after a long hour at work. She forget to bring her clothes and just wrap her body with a medium size towel. When she’s done, she walk out of the bathroom and didn’t realize Donghae was there in the living room. (Yes, the bathroom is not in her room.)
Donghae and Hana who is busy playing tea party both look at Hyukjae when she’s getting out of the bathroom. But hyukjae didn’t see them. She thought they were playing in Hana’s bedroom.
Donghae was stunned. That is the first time he sees Hyukjae barely with her clothe on. He feel so wrong but seeing Hyukjae wrapped in only a towel aroused him. The droplet of water from her hair to her face and her neck make her more sexy. He just want to…
Wait!! Donghae shakes his head. He shouldn’t have to imagine those images.
“uncle hae, are you okay? Your face is red.”
“HUH? I.. I’m fine, Hana. I just remember there’s some place I need to go. Tell mommy I say bye, okay?” Donghae hurriedly kiss Hana and walk out of the house. If he stay any longer, he probably cant control himself.
That night instead of going to a random bar, Donghae spend his night in the gym, running on the treadmill and hoping that the sweats and the fatigue he’s feeling can erase hyukjae’s sexy body line from his thought.

Hello guys..sorry for not updating anything for a long time. One of the reason is I’m kinda busy and another is I thought nobody remember the fic.huhu..probably because of the stress I’m having at work make me come out with my own negative thinking.sorry. this is all I can come up for now.and will update again hmm..in two weeks? I will try my best but if it goes hectic I probably have to postponed it later..sorry neh..i’ll be more positive next time..and sorry I didn’t leave any spot.
