Chapter 22
Ding ding ding
Hyukjae’s door bell rings endlessly. Frustrated by the empty reply, Heechul decided that she will force her way in.
“LEE HYUKJAE. I SWEAR TO GOD IF I FOUND YOUR BODY LAY LIFELESS ON THE FLOOR I WILL SEND YOU TO HELL MYSELF.” She push the key number to Hyukjae apartment and rush inside.
“LEE HYUKJAE. YOU BETTER COME OUT THIS INSTANT!!” She yell again.
Well, you can’t blame her. She is seriously worried about Hyukjae might do something stupid or he might be in danger. It’s already past noon and Siwon had called her and say that Hyukjae didn’t show up for work and didn’t answer his phone either.
She didn’t waste any time. Grab her car key and speed to Hyukjae’s house. Hyukjae never ever skip work. Not even in his worst condition.
*back in the apartment*
“Lee hyukjae!! I’m serious now.” To be honest, in Heechul’s mind it was like a dozens of image Hyukjae’s body on the ground; full of bloods, pills everywhere and Hyukjae skin is pale as a ghost. With all the anxiety, Heechul slam open Hyukjae’s bedroom door.
“Hyuk….AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Hyukjae wake up due to Heechul’s scream.
“Wha??? Awww…” He hissed in pain when he sits up so suddenly. He rubs his back gently.
“Yah!! You…Shirt…Yah!!!!!!” Heechul still screaming. She turns to her back and face the door.
“Noona, what’s wrong?” Hyukjae still half asleep and in slight pain.
“Put your shirt on. I can see your…haish. I wait for you outside.” Heechul storm his feet and slammed the door shut. Her face is in complete red. “I just saw…” She palms her face after that.
The loud noise had awakened Donghae too. He amusedly looks at Hyukjae from behind. Slowly, his hand joins Hyukjae’s hand rubbing behind his back. Hyukjae almost jump because of the sudden contact.
“Good morning. Sore?” Donghae ask teasingly.
Hyukjae can’t help but to blush. The thing that they did the night before replay in his mind. “M-Morning.” He said not looking at Donghae.
“I can kiss it better if you want to.” Donghae said again. Now he makes his way to Hyukjae’s nape and shoulder.
“I- I’m fine. Thank you.” Love to see his lover blush, Donghae tease him more. He licks and sucks on Hyukjae’s neck. Purposely aiming for his sensitive spots which make Hyukjae mew under his touch.
“Hae, n-noona…uhh..” Hyukjae bit his lower lips not wanting Heechul hear them from the outside.
“She can wait.” Donghae push him down and kiss him passionately. He is now on top of Hyukjae and they are currently making out again that moment.
“Hyuk, are you..AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Their session was interrupted.
Hyukjae push Donghae off of him.
“Noona. You should knock.” He covers himself with his blanket and Donghae smirk on his side.
“I told you to…” Heechul take a peek from her fingers and then her mouth drop.
“Donghae? Donghae!!!!” she shriek at the man.
“Uh..Hi. I should greet you properly but.. I don’t have my clothes on.” Donghae said coolly; try to hide embarrassment away.
“You didn’t tell me you two already made up..uhh..Make out actually..” Heechul look at Hyukjae confused.
“I didn’t know it will be this fast either.” Donghae frown at Hyukjae’s answer.
“Hey, you don’t like it? But last night you’re the one who demand for me to….” Donghae wasn’t able to finish since Hyukjae cover his mouth. More like a slap first and then cover his mouth. Heechul just laugh at him.
“Okay. I’m giving you 20 minutes. 10 minutes each to get ready. I cook something for you to eat.” Heechul almost close the door when Hyukjae call her again.
“Noona. Erm..”
“Don’t worry. I will let you tell this good news to Siwon. I’m not going to say a word to anybody.” She said and wink at him.

Hyukjae hurriedly goes to the kitchen where Heechul at and his meal is already on the table. “Hello noona.” He greets her and has to turn away because he can’t stand her teasing look.
Moments later, Donghae join them on the dining table. They have their meals awkwardly. Well obviously since Heechul saw Hyukjae and Donghae sleeping on the bed.
She clears her throat before start asking questions. “So, Donghae. How did you found out about Hyukjae’s place? Wait, how did you know he’s in Korea?”
“I saw him at the park. And I ask for his address from Siwon.” Donghae answer her as friendly as he can and smile.
“Siwon? My Siwon. Oh. He’s a genius. Unlike someone here who is stupid enough for not going to you ASAP.” Heechul look intensely at Hyukjae. Hyukjae pout at her statement.
“Noona……” Hyukjae whine but Heechul ignore him anyway.
“So, what I saw this morning…Ehem..The way you both sleep I mean.. There’e only one meaning….” Even though she’s Heechul, she still feels a little shy to say about Donghae and Hyukjae having sex.
“Yes. You guessed it right.” Donghae said proudly.
“Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! Now Hyukjae, if you find him sooner, both of you have done it a long time ago. You know, Donghae. It was so hard to convince this so.. I don’t know.. foolish man to face you. I talk to him for days, weeks and months. You don’t have any idea how it feels like to hear him cry everyday when we’re in China. I can’t sleep coz I don’t want him to cry alone. He kinda looks like a freak. Talking to your pictures every day. When I told him to just at least give you a call, he shut me down completely. That’s not even worst. You know how…”
“NOONA!!!!” Hyukjae call out for Heechul. She is in the middle of giving his biggest secret to Donghae. Heechul spoon flew from her hand because she was so shock to hear Hyukjae raise his voice.
“What?”
“Em.. What are you doing here?” He asks just to change the topic. Donghae nod at Heechul, silently thanking her for what she had done.
“Oh. That. Well, Siwon call me saying that you didn’t come to work today and you didn’t answer your phone then here I am. Want to check on you but I guest you don’t need it anyway.”
Hyukjae suddenly remember that he actually needs to go to work. In his panic state, he starts to run around the house; collecting everything that he need and shove them in his bag pack.
“Yah, take your time. I already told Siwon you will arrive a little late.” Heechul said and clear the mess on the table.
“A little? It’s already past noon. I’m still at home. This is unreasonable for me. I have this huge responsibility that his uncle entrust me with.
Now I’m like breaking a promise that I have made. What happen today is unforgivable.” Hyukjae keep on mumbling as he tries to move as fast as he can.
“How may rounds did you have? Well, to be awake late and forget actually what you have schedule for today, I bet one round is not the answer.”
Donghae laugh silently when he see how panic Hyukjae is. He grabs his hand and told him to calm down.
“I send you over.” He said. “I know they are going to understand.” Donghae added.
“Yeah, just tell Siwon that you had an amazing hot sexy night with Donghae. He surely will understand.” Heechul didn’t give up any chance to tease Hyukjae.
“Noona…” Hyukjae hides behind Donghae.
“Em. I will drive him off. Sorry for the inconvenient.” Donghae said.
Heechul wave her hand in front of Donghae. “No. don’t apologize. I know they are going to understand. Okay, off you go. I’ll lock the door.”

Donghae drive Hyukjae off to the café. They had a silent trip but the mood in the car was so lovely. They keep stealing glance at each other, sending kisses through the air and sometimes Hyukjae will giggle because of what they did. When they arrive, Donghae walk with Hyukjae till they are inside of the café.
All the workers are shock at first when they saw Hyukjae walk together with Donghae. They haven’t seen that for years. Some of them purposely walks pass them and congratulate the couple for being together again.
Hyukjae apologies to each worker individually and promise them he will redeem the lost hours working by having extra time in café and help out as much as he can. He did to Siwon as well and promised him that he will cover his shift anytime he wants.
Before heading out, Dongahe told Hyukjae that he will fetch him from work. They kissed goodbye and of course every person in the café tease them.

Donghae wait for a while in a car. He looks at the person whom he loves the most in the café. Following his every moves. He saw his lover taking his time apologizing to his worker and then approaching his customer.
Then he makes a call to Kyuhyun and told him they should meet at some place and mention him to bring Sungmin with him too.

Donghae arrive early at Hyukjae’s place. He place a bucket of flowers at the back seat and smile before getting out of his car. He then sits at his usual place and wait for Hyukjae’s shift to end. It has been a while since the last day of Donghae visit so Siwon personally pay for his drinks which was order by Siwon.
Donghae help up his cup and nod at Siwon.
Hyukjae was talking to Siwon when his shift has ended. He didn’t realize Donghae was there because he had to do some paper work in the office. Donghae approach him slowly and give Hyukjae a back hug.
“Hey.” He said and kiss Hyukjae’s cheek.
“Oh, Hae. I didn’t know you were here. You should call me.” HYukjae said.
“I would love to but I haven’t got your new number yet.” Donghae said to him.
“Oh. Sorry. I forgot.” Hyukjae hurriedly get his phone from his pocket but his movement was stopped by Donghae.
“We can do that later. Come on. It’s getting late.” Donghae look at Siwon and ask for them to be excuse.
“Go on. Everything else is done here.” Siwon said.
Donghae grab Hyukjae hand and drag him to his car. “Hae, are we in hurry?”
“Yes. This is a surprise.”
“Surprise?”
Donghae open the passenger door and let his Hyukjae in before rushing to his side. “You’re going to love it. Oh, wait.”
Hyukjae look at Donghae confusedly but then *chup* a kiss land on his lips.
“Okay. Now we can go.” Donghae said and wink at the blushing Hyukjae.
They drove around for a while and stop at late night restaurant.
“Are we eating late?” Hyukjae ask and get out from the car. Donghae didn’t answer him immediately but smile at him. “Come.”
Hyukjae follow Donghae’s lead. The head to a table which was already occupied by two people. Hyukjae recognize those person. He grip on Donghae’s hand tighter. Donghae look back at him and smile; ensuring that everything is okay.
“We’re here.” Donghae chipped happily and pat on Kyuhyun’s shoulder.
Both of the men turn back without saying any words. Hyukjae is now hiding behind Donghae’s back. He was not ready to face Sungmin and Kyuhyun. He was afraid that his hyungs will probably angry at him.
“Now I’m really sad and angry as well. You left us without warning. And I found out about you’re in Korea for months and now finally we meet again, you’re hiding behind Donghae?” Sungmin faked a sad voice. He hugs Kyuhyun just to make his act more convincing.
Hyukjae peek from Donghae’s back and he can see Sungmin look really sad.
“Hyung…” Hyukjae carefully tug on Sungmin’s shirt. “I’m sorry.”
“Pabo-yah. Do you know how worried I was when you decide to disappear like that? Reading your letter.. Do you have any idea how sad I was? How can you just leave like that? I want to hate you. Be mad at you. But I can’t. Why? Because you’re close to a brother to me. And as a brother I have my right to scold you right now.” Sungmin said with tears running down his face.
“I’m sorry, hyung.” Hyukjae didn’t dare to look Sungmin in the eyes.
“But come here first and give me a hug.” Sungmin held Hyukjae hand and pull him in a tight hug.
“It’s good to have you back.” They hug for a while. When Sungmin is calm enough he let go first and let Hyukjae talk to Kyuhyun.
“How have you been doing?” Kyuhyun ask. His tone is flat. Again Hyukjae fix his eyes on the ground.
“Good.” He answer and playing with his fingers. There was a moment of silent before Kyuhyun flick his fingers on Hyukjae’s forehead.
“Ow.. Hyung…..” Hyukjae look up and his eyes start to water again. Well, what Kyuhyun did want that hard but he was just too scared of kyuhyun.
“Good. Serve you right. If it wasn’t for Donghae and Sungmin, I hurt you more.” Kyuhyun said and that make Hyukjae pout at him.
Kyuhyun didn’t take long when he pulls Hyukjae for a hug. “It’s good that you and Hae together again. But you have to know. No more second chance from me.” kyuhyun smack Hyukjae’s from behind this time but not too hard.
Hyukjae pout and rub his head. “Okay. Sit with me, Hyuk,” Sungmin tap on the chair next to him. Hyukjae obediently sit next to him.
They end up catching up with Hyukjae. Where he leave now, how was it like in his training and stuff. Sungmin ask for his new address so that he can come by anytime. He asks for his number too. Just to check on him from time to time. Old habit die hard; that what people are saying.
When Hyukjae is too engrossed in talking to Sungmin and Kyuhyun, Donghae excuse himself and walk back to his car. He gets the flower and sneaks something inside. Not too deep, just hide it is a perfect place so that Hyukjae can still see the gift.
He walks back casually to his seat and snake his hand to Hyukjae’s waist.
“Guys, can I have your attention?” He starts to speak. He smile at Hyukjae and gives him the flowers.
“Donghae..” Hyukjae was taken back but he takes the flower anyway and looks at Donghae again.
“There’s something else.” He eyes dig down into Hyukjae’s orbs so lovingly.
