Once again, my daughter has done me proud.  She has been accepted to the Buckham Overseas Study Program.  She will be studying at the University of Kent, Canterbury in the Spring of 2012.  I may have mentioned this before, but now she has been officially accepted.  A lot of students applied but only 20 were accepted.

Sarah got into the Honors College at UVM. They only take 100 students in the sophomore class. You have to be invited to apply. SHE GOT IN!!!! I am so amazingly proud of her I can hardly stand it.

We're taking her out for ices now :)

I've posted these over at FaceBook but I wanted to memorialize the event here as well.  She looked beautiful, the weather cleared enough so that we could take pictures in the sunshine and everything came together.  Now I'm just praying that we don't get any rain on Sunday for her graduation.

Sarah was accepted to the University of Vermont!!!

We are so happy we do the dance of JOY!!

Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it.... but I won't think about that now.  Right now, I am just purely happy and O so proud of her!

Sarah just got her first college acceptance letter, with a scholarship!!  I am so proud of her, I could cry!!  It's Washington College and it is a very good school.

O my goodness.  I am so ferkempt right now.

 Yes, she was terrific.  Sarah BECAME the part, she was great and I am incredibly proud of her.  Of course, you figured I would say something like that.  But honestly, she REALLY was so good.  She was the only one in the cast who really ACTED, not just recited her lines from memory.  One other kid in the play was almost as good as she was, but he ( Read more... )

I'm pleased as punch, proud as a peacock and ready to bust my buttons!  Sarah has officially been named the lead in the Autumn drama for her high school.  They are doing "The Bad Seed" and she is playing the lead role of Rhoda, the pint-sized serial killer.
