Demolition Man... *snickers*
Feeling better, although I did learn that while I may need four Advil, I do NOT need three Excedrin! Can we say wired??? Had to watch a powerpoint presentation that, while about workstuffs was nicely packed with sweet innuendo. had us all about to fall out of our chairs laughing.
Feeling random, so I thought I'd put in a thing or two that were yanked from various places over recent times. Most are the things where you give several pieces of information about yourself and stuff. I don't do many of those, and with good reason. In any case, today's entry contains one 'something most of the Initiates weren't aware of about me' and one 'something more than likely none of the Initiates have done'. Now, I had to think hard for these, because while I've been here for a good long time, I am reminded almost daily how little I've actually done with what I've been handed (so far). Anyway, here goes:
I wonder how many of y'all know that I'm left-eyed? Yeah, I know one or two do, but I really am. I'm glad that vid-cams have the screen thing that you can look into while recording, because it used to be a pain trying to tape things with the big (old-timey, HUGE) vidcams. Somehow the topic came up in a conversation between my bro and myself, and I since found that Jimbob is left-eyed, too. Funny, since the only Southpaw in the family is my mom...
As for something I did that no one on the list has done, when I was in the Youth Conservation Corps (back in the dinosaur days...) I lived on Cumberland Island and once went swimming at Plum Orchard, one of seven mansions formerly owned by the Carnegie family. The place was absolutely beautiful, and one of these days I'm going to take the chibis with me for a visit. I took a few minutes to look up the Island and Plum Orchard, but some of the best pictures were found at the site for Greyfield Inn. I wonder what ever happened to a few of the people I spent the summer with that year... *sighs* I need to go down in the basement and find my hardhat. (we all had everyone sign our hard hats) One of the women in my group at work probably went to school with one of the guys I hung with. Hee. Small world by extension, I guess.
yeah, there are times I wax nostalgic... (No! I will not go there, even though I'm thinking it... my sense of humour still sucks, but I'm not gonna subject y'all to it today)
Doesn't look like I'm going home next weekend. Due to spring break, Chibermonkey is taking care of Taylor's pet potbellied pig, and he has a game on the 9th, so that takes care of that. *pouts* May go to Ellijay instead. finish some projects started and promised to have completed awhile back. I was really looking forward to going to Savannah, though.
On that note, I think the randomness must end... Sheesh, can't a girl post before the cheers commence?? *giggles*
