I turned 23 today and i can't quite decide whether that should make me excited or scared or happy whatever. I'm going with happy I think.

I feel so grown up. Except for fangirlishness, and going back to school for my birthday with my friends tonight.

I got through my horrible Financial Accounting Midterm. Of course it was scheduled for 9:00 am on a Saturday, but at least forcing me to get it over with that early meant I had time for grocery shopping, working on choreography and watching Dead Like Me ( Read more... )

Suffice it to say that mid-terms suck. Especially stats and accounting. Celli, I have more respect for you every single day :)

So I actually did pull out a few old Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys crossovers today. Sadly, I can't find the ski lodge one where Nancy and Frank kiss, but I did get a lovely little hug from the cruise ship one (Double Crossing) that I read today.

Final ruling on the business case. I get half of my mark. So I've ended up with 46.5% on my beautiful case. I'm not sure whether I'll be appealing, but I'm keeping my options open.

In far worse news, the body of Cecilia Zhang was identified yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. This kinda thing shows just how petty my problems

Business presentation went well, we didn't get to the finals, but we got some great feedback and was an incredible learning experience.

I used to think that in high school the teachers would get together and figure out when things were due so they could make life as difficult for you as possible. I had no clue that it would be even worse at university.

The last few hours before a test, when you know there's no more studying you can do that will make any sort of difference... that's what I hate about tests. Once you're in there you just kinda have to deal with what you get, but beforehand you can torture yourself wondering what will be on the test and what you should be practicing ( Read more... )
