My take on Bones
I like TV for a number of different reasons. Some shows I like because I get personally invested in the stories of the characters and am excited to see what happens to them. Some are quite simply beautiful to watch. Some shows are mind-occupying fun for a half hour or an hour a week. Some shows are all of the above.
Bones is not one of those shows. I just can't help adoring it though. The complete sweetness of Bones/Booth makes the show for me. I blatantly watch for the 'ship. Episodes like the most recent ones give me that giddy, lighthearted, smiley kind of feeling that can only come with a great 'ship.
It's kind of the bittersweet feeling of being in Season 1/2 Alias or 4/5 X-Files and just knowing you're in your prime UST years. You can only savour the fantastic moments as they come and hope it lasts a few more seasons before they screw it up.
