Wow it's been a looooong week. I haven't been on my computer since last Sunday. This week was my Initiation Week. It all started EARLY Sunday morning when all the pledges were forced to go to the house and strip naked. Then they brought in the goat. You can make your own assumptions about what happened with the goat. Then we had to go into the bathroom and clean all the toilets, because the brothers "forgot" to flush. And then the worst of all... if you believe any of this then you obviously don't know me and think I'm stupid enough to join a fraternity that hazes. Some frats at Tech do haze badly, but I chose a fraternity that has morals and is full of good people. I wouldn't associate myself with people who have values any lower. Afterall, Dbwa has a reputation to live up to. I'm still the same guy who lived the experience in the previous journal entries, and I haven't degraded myself to the status of a stereotypical frat boy.

I'm surprised myself that I have completed the pledge process to be initiated as a fully active brother. All I can say now is that I hope my friends don't view me differently or think I've changed in a bad way. If it's all jokingly and in the name of fun, then I'm fine with that, but please don't see me as a "frat boy" and treat me differently. I know the best friends I've made over the past 2 years are better than that.
