On a more positive note...
Raine is doing much better today, thank goodness. She's eaten applesauce, banana and cheerios and is clamoring for more food, which seems like a good sign. Of course she was clamoring for food all through her illness, which is just strange to me. I never thought distaste of eating while sick was a learned behavior, but it certainly could be.
She's been doing other super cute things, mostly relating to memory. We rode the carousel in Golden Gate Park while down in California, and she has been absolutely obsessed ever since. Out of the blue she'll start saying "up, down, cat" over and over again. If you respond, she'll then say "dada" and sign horse, or say "up, down" and sign frog. It's just amazing how something can make an impression on her, and how long her interest can last.
