Abba
The babe has been saying "ah ba" the last few days, to which I reply with a few lines from "Dancing Queen." Unfortunately I only know a few lines of "Dancing Queen" so I repeat myself a lot. I also know that I have heard other Abba songs but I can't think of any. I'm also relatively sure we don't own any Abba on CD.
In other news, my mother arrived for a short visit today. I'll be heading back to California with her on Saturday and staying for a week. It should be loads of fun since my brothers will all be in town for at least part of the visit. I also really want to see my mom's folks since their health isn't the best and they've never met Raine.
The downside to all this fun and excitement is that I still have 7 chapters left to edit on the novel. That translates into a chapter every other day until the end of the month. While I'm going to bring print-outs with me, and try to be very industrious, it is always hard to be productive while out of town. I imagine that the few days after I get back are going to be super crazy.
