The End
Two of the most beautiful words in the English language. It's two years after I started it, and one year after I'd hoped to finish it, but right now I'm dancing on air. The novel is written. 88975 words--not counting all the ones I've deleted. I need to go back and make sure that some of the things in the ending make sense from the beginning and do a fair amount of general polishing, and come up with a title. But the bones and most of the meat is there. Most importantly I've written an ending, and it's an ending I'm happy with. My goal at this point is to have it ready for beta readers by the end of the month. If I do that, then I can consider doing NaNoWriMo this year. All I can say is that right now life is good.
