Another garden update

Been busy in the garden.  Lost a few flowers to either a neighborhood child, or maybe a deer....not sure.  The plants are there, just the blooms were missing.  Ah well, they will grown back...that's what flowers do! :)

I put in some new plants, and I think the front garden is about done.  Needs a few more things...and to be properly mulched.

This is one of the newest Calla Lilies.  The first ones were white with a purple throat.  These have a more pink with white throat coloration.



Here is the butterfly garden,,,,as seen from the neighbor's side of the front yard.  The lilies are in front of these plants.



Here is one of the Asiatic Lilies.   They are just starting to open....there are lots more buds on the plants as you can see.



I caught a new visitor to the garden.  Someone please tell me if I'm wrong, but I think it's  Cloudless Sulphur butterfly.  It was a cheerful surprise to find as I went out to just take a few flower pictures.

I think the garden is really coming along.  Am quite pleased with it.  It makes me smile to just sit on the front porch and watch the butterflies and listed to the birds.  Is something I love about the new place.
