Life does know how to pile it on sometimes. I know we chose to do the quick-and-dirty route with moving so that's on us. But now I have to get a bad report from my main client about my work. Great. It's a mystery to Roland and I, because the rest of our clients are delighted, and our critical reports from this client have gotten shorter and shorter since the summer, (fewer criticisms). So we naturally thought things were going pretty well. Apparently not. I'm trying to decipher the issues now. They are willing to give me another chance, but of course with the move right now I may not be a) available or b) at my best. I guess it's a good thing that after this massive outlay of cash, our monthly expenses will actually go down about €500/month, thanks to Barry moving in and renting the Master Suite of our new house.
Believe it or not we still don't have a move date. Tomorrow we'll have one, maybe? Setting up the price wars between the companies has led to this situation. We're continuing to pack, marvel at the ever-expanding load of stuff, and do "final" things like visit certain people and places we won't see again for a while.
