(no subject)
So camping was a blast! There were so many crazy adventures such as raccoons eating our food, one of the tents tearing up, crazy man that drove around with his pet parakeet on his shoulder, etc. There were also the waterfalls, beautiful scenery, and time spent with an amazing guy. It was such a fun trip, and I really hope that I get a chance to have another one that special.
I visited my kids from student teaching yesterday, and it was so nice to see them. As soon as I started walking to them outside, they all ran to give me a hug. It feels nice to be wanted. I got the chance to tell them that I will probably their teacher for some of them next year since they were third graders. They were very excited. I also picked up my materials for teaching summer school while I was there. I found out that I have to attend 2 weeks of AMSTI training, one week of ARI training, and then 3 days of new teacher orientation. Luckily I found out that I get paid for attending all of those, which is exciting, because I thought that I wasn't going to be getting paid. I will actually be getting paid more than what I would have been teaching summer school. I also got to see which classroom may potentially be mine next year.
This weekend, I have the baccalaureate service and graduation. On Monday, I am cooking Lance meatloaf since it was his incentive to study for his exams (haha.. you have to get motivation from somewhere, right? :) ) Then on Tuesday, we're leaving to go Orange Beach until Saturday. On Monday, I'll start teaching summer school. Lately, I have just felt so blessed by God. It's amazing to see what it's like to fully rely on Him and to be able to see changes for good in my life.
