Summer fun
So things have been going well in New York. I got into the New York marathon and I am pumped!! I have been training hard for that. Trying to get my body in-shape and ready for the 26 miles. I am soooo excited though. It's the first real thing I have done in New York. The weather makes me not want to run somedays but I have been forcing myself. I have been pretty stressed about work decisions though and strapped a little bit for cash; nothing I can't handle though. I am having a really good time with Lori and Caroline the other nannies I met. I really like them both. Things with Marlon are going well. I am still just trying to keep it low key and fun. Sometimes I find myself wondering if he likes me, or how much he really does, which I know is silly because I know he wouldn't hangout with me if he didn't. I don't know why I feel like the need for reassurance I just find myself questioning it sometimes. I try not to bring it up. Um. The apartment is coming along nicely. We just got a new ac and new futon. We just need to get an entertainment unit for the tv and we are set! I am very excited about my room and finally feeling like I have a home. So things are pretty okay here. I just went home and saw the family and that was nice. Stressful as usual but nice. I got to see cousins and uncles I haven't seen in awhile. Good good time. Okay I am off to watch the cubbies!!
