Severed
Today, my company outsourced my position. I will have 5 weeks of pay before I either need to have a job or seek unemployment stuff.
I would have been there 4 years on the 14th.
I leave for a friend's place in TN this evening. Hopefully I can still have fun there. Back Sunday afternoon.
EDIT: A light in the darkness. My old boss just called. Apparently the guy in charge of the company is willing to pay out the PTO that would have reset itself my anniversary date, since it falls in the same pay period as my release date. That's 3 more weeks' worth of pay that's actually coming to me. Shiny. ^..^
