7. Revelation by Karen Traviss (Book 8 in the Legacy of the Force series)

Last weekend, manwhoreforhire and I went down to Los Angeles for a work seminar he had on Friday. While he spent the day being bored out of his head, I managed to find my way to the "shopping and dining" part of Glendale so I could wander around. I also had managed to come down with a full blown cold or illness by this point too so I was feeling pretty pathetic wandering around by myself feeling crappy and wanting to be somewhere even more comfortable. I spent some time in the Borders and couldn't believe I hadn't grabbed the latest book in the series (I remember mahdi mentioning the latest book but I have the hardest time remembering their titles when they are not in front of me so I was a bit confused).

I was so addicted to finishing this book (and finding out what happened) that I stayed up late on Sunday night after a long day of driving.

1. Finally, the Jedi know Jacen (or Darth Caedus, as he prefers now) killed Mara, though I have to admit the confession to Shevu was...weird and convenient.

2. I squealed with glee (out-loud in the car) when Daala came back. I haven't liked some of the ways different authors have written her, but she is kick ass in this book.

3. I also was saddened but expecting it when Pellaeon was murdered. I hope Daala's vengeance will be everything she promises.

4. I also have to finished the Allegiance book (the third one in a Clone Troopers storyline) now because when last I left the story Bariss (the Jedi carrying the clone troopers baby was just about to go into hiding with "her" clones).

5. I don't know what to make of Niathal in this book. All of sudden we've gotten a more personal look into her psyche but I wish this had been there earlier so I could see just why she went along with all of Jacen's scheming if she had such high morals now all of sudden.
