[Someone never came back the last time he made a post. If you were worried about him, don't be.
Because the video feed is on, and while, as usual, it doesn't focus on himself, it's pretty clear it's him when he starts talking.

The video is focused on, of all things, the lake and, more importantly, something on shore. It's impossible to see just what it is for a while, until at last, a paper lantern is lowered towards it, and the communicator is placed closer.
A few fish, some dead monster parts... and an arm. A mottled, blue-gray, bloated and decomposing human arm.]
