Woke up and found Tom pasted out from the night before. I ran into the shower and got all cleaned up. (I don't remember that much from here on....) So after hanging out with Tom he went home to take a shower and get ready for Monday Night's events. Adam was at work from 5am-2pm. So when he got back home from the airport. We decided to take a 'nap'. We ended up going to the Sky Hotel to volunteer for the Apres ski. We got there and started handing out invitatiions to the Ralph Lauren party. Plus we were also handing out raffel tickets for different budwieser prizes. That was fun, because we got to go around and talk to new people and chat for a few. So were did that from 3 to 530. But during that time they were handing out free cocktails with vodka and chambord and cranberry. I was downling them left and right. Damn I was at a good buzz.
After we left the Sky Hotel we decided to go back to the hotel and rest up some more for the Ralph Lauren party. On the way back to our hotel we ran into this girl. I forgot her name, but she recognized us from volunteering and said that she knew Ralph Lauren's son. She said his name was David and was good friends with him. We got to the hotel and took another 'nap' and got back online.
The cocktail party at Ralph Lauren started at 730p and we didn't get there until around 830p. By that time it was packed with people in the store. They were handing out all sorts of bottles of wines. There were also some cocktails and sushi appetizers. But they were putting the appetizers away by the time we got there. We mingled around, but me and Adam just talked. We didn't recognize anybody there and we picked up our coats from the coat check after downing 8 glasses of wine in 30 mins.
We went off to eat dinner somewhere.. I think the pizza place again. Then we headed over the Club Chelsea where I was volunteering for the evening. I got to the door at 10p. They said I was assigned to guard the back door of the club. It was right near the coat check and it connected the Club Chelsea to the hidden bar. We had to keep the straights out with wrist bands. hehe. Anyways after doing that til 1130ish. I went out and ran into Tom. He was again drunk off his ass. Me and Adam were tired and left back to the hotel. Sleep again.

I woke up and had a good contiental or complementary breakfast at our hotel. Then I headed over the Sky hotel and went to the Hospitality suite to volunteer for something. There was this cute guy named Brian that was working and said he needed help. So I sat with him and we chatted from 10a-2ish pm. It was fun and we talked about how he is a photographer in Denver. He had blue eyes and reddish brown hair. VERY CUTE. All I did was check people for their passes and checked off people off the lists. But the whole time me and Brian chatted.
I got back to the hotel around 2pm to meet up with Adam. We had volunteered again to do the Apres ski at the Hotel Sky. So we headed up there around 330p. It was fun because me and Adam were miggling again and I was downing more cocktails. OH YEA! I had met this cute little couple from Denver and their names were Ken and Mike. They were really fun to hang out and interested in NM and Gunnison. So we chatted for a few. Then I ran into this older man and we chatted and he bought me a Manhattan. My fav! Well besides doing the raffels this time.. we were also handing out information on the Boutique night.
After leaving the Sky Hotel.. we went to the grocery store to buy some food for dinner. I was going to make spaghetti dinner. I had brought with me my propane burner, pots and pans for camping. So we had meat ball spaghetti dinner in the hotel room.
We left at 7pm to head to the boutique cocktail parties. This is where it got really fun. The stores that were having the parties were at Aspen Sports, C.B. Paws, Curious George, Cooking School of Aspen, Daughter Earth, Footloose and Fancy Things, Kemo Sabe, Loro Piana and Pismo Gallery at Aspen. Me and Adam went to the School of Cooking and it was really cool there. They had set up different nights to cook a variety of cuisnes. This night they had some Hawaiian food theme and it smelled good in there. But the only thing is that you had to pay 150 dollars a plate. And we didn't have that cash on us. So the nice lady gave us shots of Pravada Vodka and beers. So we were just walking around in there.
We went to the C.B. Paws, but nothing was happening in there. So we went to Aspen Sports and nothing exciting was there either. We went to Loro Piana and it was just cheap NM type cowboy stuff in there... but I had 2 glasses of wine there. Then we went to Pismo Gallery. DOOD IT WAS BEAUTIFUL IN THERE. We met up with Tom there. They were handing out more shots of Pravada Vodka, beers and tonz of wines. So I had one of each and including their 6 different wines. Luckily they had some appetizers. YUM. The gallery owner and I ended up talking for 30 minutes about all the different pices of art. Her name is Isabelle Loeb and we just chatted about everything. We talked about Albuquerque, Gunnison, UNM and school. It was fun. She then invited me back the next day for a huge art opening. So we said we would be back.
We arrived at Kemo Sabe and it was the happening place to be. They were making all sorts of fancy cocktails for free. They also had beers and wine too, but people were downing the cocktails like no other. Brian had to run to another store to get more cases of Pravada. Well after walking around and looking at their cowboy hats, boots, and all sorts of gear it was fun. We ran into this guy from VW... his name is James. He was this big black dood and was just chatting away about how he just arrived from Minnesota. From there he introduced us to Jack and Todd. Jack was very nice and one of the guys that was incharge of the whole gay ski week. So we chatted about Gunnison and told him it was my first time in Aspen. So from there I was introduced to all the Aspen locals in the store that he knew. From there I meet back with Todd... He is HOT. Anyways we chatted and he said he was a manager at a club in Aspen. I had found out that he was the Club manager at Club Chelsea. So we hit it off pretty well and he is soo butch. I didn't think that he was gay, but it was cool to hang with him and chat.
I had volunteered to work at the door of Club Chelsea this night. I was up at the front putting on arm bands and collecting money at the door. I was doing this with another Aspen local. I forgot his name, but he said he was the general manager at Louis Vuitton. So he was handing me a beer every 15 minutes. Then Jack comes around and makes sure we are okay. Then starts handing me beers too. So Im at the front door from 10pm til midnight and Im getting fucked up. I told that to the Louis Vuitton guy and he said.. "You young guys don't have to pay a thing here for gay ski week. Us old guys buy you whatever you want." I gave him a huge hug and thanked him for the drinks. So I ended up in the club after midnight. Jack and Brian kept on coming up to me and thanking me for the evening because they needed an extra person at the front. So I got more drinks ontop of that. I was drunk and getting tired so I went back to the hotel room.
