I forgot that the US National Figure Skating championship is already taking place. Looks like Kimmie Meissner and Emily Hughes withdrew, not that I thought they would end up at the top of the list. Still, I would have liked to have seen where they would have placed. I like Mirai Nagasu and Caroline Zhang, but they still look too young.
Read that Derrick Delmore isn't competing in the men's, but turns out he skates in pairs now? He didn't do well in sectionals, so he won't be in the pairs competition at nationals. I've always liked him even though I think 8th or 9th place was the highest he ever got.
Canada just finished their nationals this past weekend. Patrick Chan has zero competition and he beat the 2nd place person by 50ish points. I hope he does well in Vancouver next year.
