So the Philospher complained about religion the other day. For him I could understand the position. He's Gnostic. Gnosticism is a highly mystical and thus overly individualized approach to spirituality, whether that be within the confines of Chrisitanity, Judaisim, Islam, or any variation of a jagillion mystery religions.
