So I'm not sure that I've accurately explained to girly that being in a relationship with me carries with it certain... eccentricities of life. Since my life is essentially a comedy of errors (a term that I've come across recently that I find superbly defines my existance), she may be welcoming a whole bunch of drama into her life. This past Tuesday night was one such example.
So the Seder at Temple has ended. We've cleaned up and everyone's going home. The Thundercats are all leaving to go to Plaza Sesamo (a shopping district we've tagged with the name). We hang out, it gets really late, we leave. I drive up the 20+ miles to my girl's house and since we haven't had any time by ourselves we stop off at a park. It's just talking but, after a couple of minutes I lean in to kiss her and then all of a sudden...
Police lights!
Girly: What's going on?
Me: Be cool baby. Be cool.
Girly: We didn't do anything.
Me: I know baby, just... be cool.
The police go ahead and intterogate us. Seems little did we know but we'd actually arrived while they were on patrol waiting for a drug deal to go down. Wow. Me and my timing. Why does stuff like this always happen to me?
