First comment on the podcast I always listen to after watching Game of Thrones... "Holy SHIT, what an episode!!!" But in swedish. ;-)

It pretty much sums up this episode, I think… Let’s see if I can get my mind in order….

[Oh, there’s spoilers under this cut… So much spoilers you’ll drown in them!]I don’t know where to even start. I’ll just split it up between where we are, right? RightRead more... )

Definitely my favorite episode of this season so far. I was on the edge of my seat for that battle.

My friend is worried that Dany is going to go all mad-king by the end but I'm hoping she will manage to find a balance between doing the good thing and doing the right thing?

I don't feel the whole Jon/Dany thing either. The chemistry is not there and there is no reason for them to be interested in each other since they haven't had any real conversations except for the random cave of wonders.

Also, Tim and I were talking about how hard it would be to fire that giant arrow thing and how the odds of hitting a flying dragon in one shot and doing any damage were so slim. And now Dany is just going to be extra pissed because HER BABIES!

Not sure about Jamie. I think he will be left behind, perhaps everyone will think he is dead. Except for Tyrion...perhaps Tyrion will have to decide between family loyalty and loyalty to Dany...it came up a lot in this episode.

Oh Theon...do you think he will survive this show? I feel like he is not going to make it. Perhaps he will sacrifice himself to save his sister or maybe Arya - that would throw her for a loop!

It definitely was one of the best episodes I've seen so far! Best battle scene, definitely! And I thought no battle scene could top Battle of the Bastards! I guess I was proved wrong!

I think Dany might be close to go all mad king on us. The signs are there for sure. But I also think she'll be pulled back from that by her friends/family... Because let's be frank, those following her? Tyrion, Missandei, Varys and Grey Worm have become a makeshift family for her... Jorah should have been there to, but that's my opinion, I guess. She's got no other family, after all. So if someone would pull her back from going all mad king on us, it would be them.

Totally agree with you on Jon and Dany. I think many fans just wants them to end up together thanks to the title of the bookseries, A song of Fire and Ice. Fire = Dany. Ice = Jon. There's a lot of telling but no showing when it comes to that possible ship. :-P I need more showing before I buy it. :-P

DANY'S BABIES!!! And I admit, I'm starting to have quite the soft spot for Drogon. He'll probably die before the show had ended just because of that though. :-/

Tyrion was really the highlight in this episode. He really was. You could see every emotion on his face while watching that battle. It was quite amazing! If Jamie ends up even close to Tyrion, I think he'll try to talk Jamie over to Dany's side. I think there might even be a chance off success... Jamie has seemed less fond off or supportive off Cersie. Even less happy about being in bed with her.

And Theon? Well... Whatever part he has to play, I don't think they'll let him die just like that. I think he has a bigger part to play for sure! If it involves his death or not, had to say. NO ONE I SAFE IN THIS SHOW!!!! Of course, I hope he'll survive, but who knows?

OH well now that Jorah is back to normal, maybe he will rejoin Dany at a key moment - I'm thinking maybe the season finale (or the episode before since we know GoT always has the major stuff go down the episode before).
