Sweden Rock Festival is one HELL of a festival! And, as I learned, is perfect for a festival-beginner like myself. :-) Since the average age at the festival was... 37. So there were a lot of older people there. And families. I saw a lot of prams and young kids. They have this rule that you can't bring kids under the age of 3. And if you have kids ( Read more... )

-Totally agree with the hearing rules. Very smart: parents can still come, and keep their kids, and not worry about a sitter, but kids safety comes first. Good old Sweden.

-Oh god almost missing trains is my worst worst worst fear. i hate that feeling.

-" I calmly told him I'd seen plenty of those and was sure his wasn't that interesting nor very big."
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA I'm actually crying right now i cannot believe he actually took it out how drunk did he have to be

-I'm sad that I missed that cheese!! and... moose kebabs?!?! wow i didnt know they made those!

-It's sad that he has ankylosing spondylitis. it's a terrible disease, but i'm really impressed he can still play. it must be so difficult for him to move his entire lower back and especially to stand for that long. it's i think the mark of a really successful artist that they can bring that large a crowd of people together, and have all of those people recall special memories that are linked to the artist. the've really made their mark on tons of people. beautiful.

-belgian waffles!!! i can teach you how to make those!!! i'll put it on the list for next time ;)

really glad it was everything you expected and more. i know how much you were looking forward to it.

Sweden does have it's moments. :-)

I will admit I've never been this close to missing a train before. :-/ And all thanks to a broken window on a buss and then they were late with finding a replacement buss. :-P

Oh, the man wearing the dick I had the misfortune to see? Well, he was plenty drunk mark me. X-D I just always seem to end up in situations like that. And guys pulling out their dicks I've seen before. During the outdoor parties with the student union people sometimes... It seems to be a drunk thing to do when you're young and stupid and thing all your manliness is in your dick. X-D

Moose kebabs aren't very common, but the whole festival area was just FILLED with more or less exotic food, so I guess it ended up in that category. :-D

Mick Mars is really a successful artist, true! And he don't dare take to many painmeds either for fear of ending up addicted, since he has a past of self medicating with illegal drugs, alcohol and whatever he could get his hands on. I think he'll end up writing music for other artists after this year, and do guitar-work here and there on albums. :-) He deserves any break he can get, really.

Belgian waffle date is a deal! :-D

And yes, it was an amazing experience, and I am so very very glad I went!
