Authors Note: Written for lilliephoenix as she won’t give up on this, dammit! She feed my muse some more prompting this: Maybe if your muse is interested, you could write a follow up where bill makes christmas cookies- under the watchful gaze of gustav, of course- but they get distracted. Clearly, my muse was interested… So here is a sequel to the little ficlet/drabble from yesterday. Unbetad and written just now.
Authors Note 2: The recipe for the Christmas cookies Bill and Gustav bake: Lebkuchen

Despite the G’s best effort to stop their respective twin to kick each other’s asses after their (most enjoyable) distraction and a good night’s sleep… Tom and Bill did have somewhat off a fight over candles, fire-security and what not the next day. Georg and Gustav had just looked at each other then, and gave up. There was just so much they could do. Both hoped there would be no permanent damage, and then they’d left for the nearest mall (it wasn’t the first time they were visiting the twins in LA after all, and most likely not the last…).

Once there they found a salesman outside the mall that sold Christmas trees… And they both decided to get the twins a surprise.

“Dude…” Georg poked Gustav in the side as they walked around watching the Christmas trees… “So damn weird… fake snow…”

Gustav touched some of the fake snow, and it got stuck on his finger. “Yes. But at least we won’t freeze our butt off.” He concluded, to which Georg had to agree…

Finding the best tree (according to them) they paid up and dragged the thing to the car… then they returned and bought some decorations… and electric lights.

Just as they’d packed up, getting ready to drive back, Gustavs phone went off, playing Sandman…

“Schäfer.” Silence. “Sure. Don’t worry about it Bill.” Silence. Georg raised an eyebrow, looking at Gustav. “Yeah. I do. See you later. Love you.” Then he hung up.

“Well? Have they strangled each other yet?” Georg asked, correctly guessing it had been Bill calling.

“No. And we have some more shopping to do.” Gustav said, dragging Georg out of the car.

When Gustav told Georg Bill wanted to bake cookies to appease Tom, Georg almost fell over right then and there on the parking-lot since he was laughing so hard. Bill? Baking? Those two words should NOT be in the same sentence. Being the supportive friend he was though, he did join Gustav when he steered his feet towards the grocery store…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The return to the twins had been a successful one. Bill had squeed at the tree and attacked Gustav with kisses, and Georg had gotten his fair share to, until Tom had grabbed a hold off him and told Bill to stick to his own… Georg would never stop being amused by the twins. At least neither he nor Gustav would ever be bored.
Then they’d decorated the tree together, all four of them. Much like they’d done when they were kids and had just started out on their weird journey to where they were today. It had ended up being a very nice Christmas-tree. A welcome mix between modern and classic decorations.
“Glad you’re here…” Tom breathed in Georgs hair, standing behind Georg as they all admired their handiwork. Georg just turned around and gave Tom a kiss, feeling just how glad Tom was about said fact poking him…
“Show me how much?”
“Didn’t I do that yesterday?” Tom asked, raising an eyebrow…
“Get a room!” Bill stuck his tongue out at the two, while Gustav just chuckled.
“You shouldn’t say anything, Bill. You were just as bad yesterday.” He calmly pointed out. Not that he was complaining… just pointing out facts.
Tom and Georg just gave the other two near identical wicked grins as Georg pulled Tom with him towards Tom’s room their intentions quite clear…
“Horn-dogs!” Bill shouted after them. Gustav just laughed and shock his head, sitting down in the couch hoping for some cuddles. But apparently that was not the order of the day, as Bill dragged him up again.
“This is perfect, Gustav! While Georg keeps Tom busy, we can bake cookies! I called mom before, she gave me the recipe!” and he ran off towards the kitchen before Gustav. “Look!” and he gave him a piece of paper scribbled full. “I even wrote it all down.”
The paper was filled with Bills scribbles, and Gustav thanked his lucky stars that he was so used to interpret them… “Alright… Let’s see what we need to do first…” then he took the lead into the kitchen with Bill after him…
Thankfully, the way the twins mom made Lebkuchen was quite similar to how Gustavs mom made them, so it wasn’t that hard to do the dough, even if Bill managed to spread flour all over both off them and a good part off the kitchen. As they both took a piece of the cookie-dough to taste once it was done, they both came to the conclusion that despite the mess… they’d done one hell of a job. And the sounds Bill made when trying that dough? Should be illegal according to Gustav.
“Right. So now we have to put the dough in the fridge for at least one hour, preferably two.” He told Bill.
“What? Oh no…” Bill pouted. “I wanted to finish them off…”
“Well, it is either that or failed cookies…” Gustav pointed out. “They’ll still be done so we can try them tonight.”
That cheered Bill up. “Alright.” And they wrapped the dough up, and put it away.
Then Bill gave Gustav a big hug. “Good thing I have you. I would have made a mess of it all otherwise.”
“Well…” Gustav smiled looking around the kitchen and at themselves… Pulling Bill down and giving him a kiss on his check that was covered in flour. “Still kinda did. We need to clean up and off…”
Wrapping his arms around Gustav, Bills smile turned wicked… “I know…” and he started to push Gustav backwards towards the stairs… “I haven’t shown you what I planned… specially for you yet, have I?” and Bill bent down capturing Gustavs lips and giving him a deep kiss gripping the mans muscular arms. Good gawd, them muscles… Bill most likely loved them just as much as Gustav loved how tall and lean Bill was as he wrapped himself around the shorter man still walking them both towards the stairs… “I think we can start in the shower… I’ll keep you busy… for at least two hours…”
