I just tried reading " Patterns in the Patchwork" and oh gawd how did I let myself put that tripe out there? HOW? It's clunky and ridiculous! EDIT: and I just noticed I basically had the Doctor take a DayQuil and a NyQuil simultaneouslly, no wonder he's a bit zany for the rest of the fic.
Between this and trying to read some nonsense that had Krys in it earlier I am close to curling up in a corner and vowing to never write again. I know the urge will pass but right now the universe sucks. Stupid brain.
ETA: lol mood swing: post-election shennanigans!Friday post. Epic. EPIC.
Son of ETA: going back through old posts which I deem pointless and then deleting them if they have no comments is probably against some rule.
Mother-in-law of ETA: Alan got sworn in as a US citizen this morning. Witness some dorkiness from his blog: Last week I had my naturalization meeting and the film crew [for a History Channel doccumentary on naturalization] were there too. At one point in the test you have to write down a sentence to prove your prowess in English, and my sentence was 'I bought a blue car today'. I thought that was such a great line: at once really sweet and childlike, but also so much about consumersim and gas guzzling! Today after the ceremony Aaron from the film company gave me a t-shirt with guess what written on it? Yes! 'I bought a blue car today!'
