Cookied out
Have 3 days off from work. It's my annual finish up my Christmas shopping and do my baking couple of days. Yesterday only got one batch baked, but made a batch that needed to be chilled before baking. Today I baked 4 batches of cookies, plus mixed up another batch of sandies and crackles which are chilling in the fridge for baking up later. Tomorrow I will hit Destiny USA in hopes of finishing my shopping. I just need to get one more thing for a couple of people-- though I have to go elsewhere to get the gift I want for my nephew. Hopefully if I get an early enough start, I can hit more than just Destiny and be done shopping, though I am not sure if I want to spend another day baking. :) I did take a tin of cookies to my neighbors, and will be taking a bunch into work on Thursday. Hopefully they won't make pigs of themselves and eat them all in 1 day. Need to decide/ find out if I should take cookies next door. Mary is gluten free, and my cookies are not gluten free, so I am not sure if I should bring them over for the rest of the family or not. Will probably put a plate together to drop off at my hair dressers if/ when I go out and about Wednesday. Did start my cards, got all my family and the locals done. Just left the ones where I need to write about what's been going on this year. Need to decide if I want to put up more lights, and get a replacement for the candlier that broke. Looking forward to putting all the boxes back under the house. Will be wrapping all my gifts and putting them under the tree tomorrow or most likely Wednesday after I bake a few more cookies.
