back at it again?

Hmm.... so yeah. School is going all right so far. Milton's Paradise Lost isn't so bad, but having to read 2/3 of it inside of a week is just plain sickening. This piece is absurdly dense and intense, how could we POSSIBLY cover what we need to in that amount of time? Why are we reading the WHOLE thing. I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU ANN BLISS! WHY DO YOU TRY TO HAVE PARADISE LOST COVERED IN ONLY FOUR FREAKING CLASS PERIODS. *sigh* idiot....

My spanish class is going well, I suppose. I've forgotten a few of the verbs.... well not a few, a lot, but I'm coping. My other class, American Poetry, is proving to be worthwhile. We're reading an assload of poetry, yes, but commenting in class is going to be a lot of fun since there's 9 students and 1 professor. We're going to spend a lot of time discussing and coming up with bizarre theories and such. It should be cool. The only downer is that since it's a once a week class, the reading assignments are ass ugly. By next monday, not this coming monday since there's no school, I have to read all of Poe and Whitman's poetry. Poe is easy since I've read most of it, but Whitman has like 115 pages of poetry. That's..... quite a bit. I emailed my prof to ask him if that's what he wants. Anyway, time to watch some 24, I'll be back to finish the rest of this in a while

*watching 24*

ok, this is like.... four episodes later. This show is absolutely amazing. I've never been so hooked on something as I have been now. The people who made 24 have somehow found a way to inject cocaine into TV. Ridiculously addicting show. Anyway, I'm gonna go put some dishes away, do some recreational reading and then do some HOMEWORK reading. I have to read all of Whitman's stuff because, and I quote, "it's good for you." Or so says Hugues, my professor. Oh well, hopefully it'll go fast. Time to blaze.
