Why am I always the last one to hear about these things?!

The following is more of a rant than anything else, so feel free to move along.
( Cut just to be safe, but since this news is apparently old (like Jan '08 old) - is it still considered spoilerish? )

I'm not happy about Spiderman either. It just seems completely stupid that they are like 'WELL 20 YEARS ERASED LETS GO RE-DO EVERYTHING'. It's like...bad fanfiction.

EXACTLY.

I'm not deep into Spiderman, but aside from the whole MJ thing, 20 years are just gone? Spiderman chooses his aunt over the love of his life? Don't get me wrong, it's a hard choice to make, but still... And how does this affect the rest of the Marvel world? Peter is really just starting over from the beginning? Does this just undo everything that's happened?! (I haven't read the actual issue, so I don't know all the details about how this choice affects Spidey's world.)

GAH. I don't get it. O.O;;

I'm not sure how it affects the other Marvel characters. But it was kinda annoying that it reset everything. Ugh. Im still upset over DC Comics whole 'Infinite Crisis' storyline that I completely didnt understand.

This is why i usually stick to manga. Most of the Japanese comics END before they run the series dry. I heard awhile back that the writers hated the peter parker/mj marriage pretty much since it happened but this is retarted.

Btw, is itjust me or doesthis sound very Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles?
