Montreal

I love, love love love love love love love love love love love **LOVE** salsa dancing. And social types of dancing in general that aren't bumping and grinding.
I swear to this: learning to Latin/Ballroom dance is my life goal. I will remain UNFULFILLED unless I learn to do that, and go out ever so often.

Ok, taking a step back-
I've been in Montreal, Canada since Monday at around 6:00 PM or so. I'm sick, which has the potential of ruining the whole experience, but thankfully it hasn't yet. Of course, when I get back I might have to take antibiotics... Anyway, the first night we went downtown to the old-ish city and ate on the rooftop of this restaurant. Then we went to a microbrewery and got 2 metres of beer. The next day we actually had a concert, so we went to the Cathedral down the street- Mary Queen of the World, I think. We basically just sang at mass and didn't even do such a good job. It was fun, though, and people were really grateful that we were there. They called us angels and stuff, AwWw. After that we walked around town, and ate at a Thai restaurant. We shopped (5 dollar shirt, wooo!) and wandered until dinner. John, our director, came with us for shots and drinks at this one place, le estranger (?). We went to dinner at this bar/restaurant on Crescent- Dundee's- and after that went to an irish pub and sat around/ played darts. Overall it was a good day. Today, we went to the Museum of Modern Art- really cool stuff, this guy Bruce Newman/ Bruce something.. worked with Neon light. Cool medium, I have to say. (I like colors.) Then Natasha and I walked with Jeremy to the smoke paraphernalia shop, after which we took the opera costume tour at the mall. This time we had an official group dinner at a Greek restaurant. I tried some Mousakka, and unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I'm glad I tried it though. We came back, hung out for a bit, and then went to a SALSA club! It was sort of sparse, not many people go dancing on Wednesdays I guess. Still, it was nice to get out. I really love watching the good couples shake and spin. I had a mojito, danced a last dance, and now we're back in the room around 1:00.

HmMmmMm> I dunNooo.
I'm thinking a lot about my summer work/ program. I'm starting only a few days after I get back home..! I still don't know ALL the details, either. I hope it goes well...
I can't really call home or Kyle because of the ridiculous roaming charges I probably have with Sprint.. I did talk to my mom for 5ish minutes, though.. she told me I should send postcards to my grandparents.

Blahh, how do I prioritize? Learning salsa? Jazz? Guitar? There's so much OUT THERE for me to seize and absorb. It's exciting.

I need to go to bed; my body's BUSTED. I hope my eyes stop gooping in the morning, WaAaHHAHh-- soo gross!

Goodnight,

Krystyna
