2005 Notable Accomplishments and Events
- After 2 miscarriages, 3 years of effort and a rough delivery, little Chris was born on 11/23 and brought home on 12/24
- A successfull year of loving the jems of my life, only second to my children, Thecatsmeoww and Child_of_scota
- I initiated a shift into a completely different career, that of becoming a mortician and running a number of related business. The scope= $3-5 million investment, move to oregon, 3-4 year to completion.
- I turned 31
- I have discovered a growing rebellion of gray hair
- Made a number of new friends, strengthened old ties
- We (my partners and I) have created a ritual format that I really enjoy and encompasses everything that I want to celebrate. I think they like it too.
- The Journeyer Temple initiated its first students.
- I have committed to hitting the gym more often and am determined, in spite of past attempts, to get fit and slim so I can woo investors for my new business venture. Motivation? Got Child_of_scota signed up at the gym and it has a hot tub.
- Picked up 2 new card games, Apples to Apples and Munchkin. Many of our parties with friends involves either of these two.
- Celebrated several holidays including: Ostara, Beltane, Samhain, Zombie Day and Yule (Zombie day is a little party we like to have where we snack and watch zombie movies all day)
- Went to my first DragonCon!!
- Saw Duran Duran in concert for their Astronaut tour in Collumbus OH (fan-fucking-tastic!!!!).
- Handfasted our friends yaguari and mystique468
- Was best man at my brothers wedding
- Saw Emerald Rose when they came to Knoxville
- Started playing the Violin (well.... its not really called playing at this point, but hopefully soon)
