I have had zero time for anything since the baby was born, so this is my first update and I have to make it quick because she's going to wake up soon.
I went into labor at one in the morning on July 9th. It hurt very bad. Like screaming out loud bad. I sat with my mom in the living room timing contractions until 5 AM. We got to the hospital and I had my very first wheelchair ride up to labor and delivery. I was three centimeters dialated at that point, and they asked if I wanted pain meds and of course I said yes...so they gave me this crazy stuff in my IV that worked instantly...it made me hallucinate and eventually I fell asleep...I woke up a few hours later and Christian was there with my mom...I was having a reaction to the pain medication and I was stuck in a contraction for 13 minutes...it was the scariest feeling...I was all stiff and I couldn't move and I was shaking all over the place...so the doctors and nurses were freaking out and running around and they gave me a shot of something and put an oxygen mask on my face and then it was over...after that I got my epidural, and I didnt feel the needle go in at all, the doctor was very good, and I went to sleep again. When I woke up the doctor told me that I was ready to start pushing...I pushed for an hour and it was the most tiring thing I've ever had to do...and then she popped out and they stitched me up, because she had torn me a little, and it was over!
She was 7lbs 13 oz, and 19.5 in. long. Shes a very good baby for the most part and I love her very very much.
