I am going to write a book called "Apathy Nation." It is going to be based on how young Canadians get more excited about hockey than politics.
The comments on my last entry made me think. We don't go and cheer in the streets because no one we want to win ever wins - but we don't riot in the streets when someone we don't want to win does.
I look at the last election in Ukraine as an example of people who are passionate about their politics. I'm not saying that it was positive, but people were passionate about their candidate - even before election day. Their were bombings, poisonings, riots, celebrations... That, my friends, is politics.
