The Alpha and the Omega part 212
Ohno woke with a jerk at the sharp feeling of panic and anger that he could feel coming from his Nino bond. They were too far away for normal communication so whatever Nino must have been going through was enough for it to physically affect him at such a great distance and that was all he needed. He jumped out of the rocking chair that he had settled himself in and then pulled off his clothes knowing that it would be faster for him to run to the hospital. After he transformed he let out howl which he knew would wake up the rest of his pack and then he ran through the house his feet tapping against the wood on the stairs and then down through the door which could thankfully be opened by paws as there was an automatic lock that could be pressed.
He didn’t stop running through the garden and then down and out through the gate. Nino’s pain flared through the bond, so much so that it caused his heard to pound against his ribs and a whimper to escape his muzzle and tears collected in his eyes and moved his body faster and harder darting through traffic and heading down every short cut that he knew. Pain turned into true despair and it almost forced him to stop but he fought through it to keep on moving. The hospital came into view and he heard the faint voice of his lover who was pleading softly;
“Please…Please…Please…Yumehiko, Yumehiko…Please…Please…Please…My darling…Please...”
“Nino? Nino what’s wrong? What’s happening?” Ohno asked through their bond but it appeared that he wasn’t listening to him but only to his own pain and Ohno put in the last bit of effort that he had making it into the hospital. He almost skidded on the well-polished floor as he tried to slow himself down while keeping himself moving as quickly as possible. Thankfully he recovered himself and hurried over to the stairs taking them as quickly as he could before he finally reached Nino’s floor. He could feel the tension emitting from within and it was like a physical pressure was being placed on his shoulders.
Nino’s pain was almost unbearable and Ohno could see why. His mother was on the floor pinned down by Erika’s wolf and he was almost satisfied to see that she was bleeding through various wounds on her body and she was whimpering pathetically. He transformed back into his human form and moved slowly into the bedroom not wanting to see what was inside but knowing that he had to. Nino was on his bed with blood soaking his body. Yumehiko was in his arms and he was rocking him slowly back and forth. Mao was in the room wearing nothing but a hospital gown and Ohno moved to the bed towards his mate not knowing what to say or do.
He almost had a heart attack when Yumehiko let out a whimper which was then followed by a pitiful cry which was followed by Nino’s as he kissed the top of his silken head. Ohno collapsed into the bed now bringing his arms up to wrap around them both as Nino whispered;
“He’s alive…He’s alive…I thought…” Ohno swallowed loudly knowing exactly what he had thought when he had first walked into the room and it wasn’t one that he wanted to return to. “I thought…I thought that she…Oh fuck…”
“It’s okay…It’s okay my darling…” Ohno breathed his mouth and nose finding its way into his hair his eyes on Yumehiko…His beautiful precious prince. Nino buried his face into his chest continuing to rock their son against him as he whispered;
“I want to come home…Please…Please let us come home…”
“Of course…Of course you can come home…Immediately…”
