Life continues, as you may have guessed. :)
Good news on the job hunt for D. He's got a job!
Not so good news is it's seasonal, and doesn't start with regular hours until the end of March.
Good news about it, pay is decent, there's possibility of a ton of hours in the summer, possibly up to 60/week. Every week he does 60 in the summer is 2 weeks he can afford not to work in winter. This is good. We're looking at him working PT through May, FT starting at the end of May-Start of Sept, then PT again through Oct. Then we'll look to have him work PT in a seasonal whatever job Nov-Dec and he'll be able to take Jan, Feb, and beginning of March off until he starts working summer seasonal job again next year.
He'll be working in the gift shop in Ireland are of Busch Gardens.
If he stays there a few years or so as we're planning, we'll be getting some awesome benefits, such as free passes and etc to the park. As is, we can get discounted passes this year after he works 60 Days or 100 hours, whichever comes first. So in addition to decent pay rate for the area/job, we get discounts that will help us with our limited entertainment budget. Yayness.
So we're buckling down on our budget for the next few weeks until BG paychecks start being regular with resonable hours in them. It's really not going to be too bad though. I'm still working 35 hours a week, so it's looking like we'll be able to cover the expenses D's checks are supposed to cover from our savings account. We'll also have enough left in our savings to maintain the minimum balance to keep it a free account and not pay monthly fees on it. So all is in w00tness there.
Time to pop off for dinner, Ta folks.
