RMUN 2007 was an absolute blast and I miss GA1 so, so bad. We're more than just delegates, we're a family of delegates! Many thanks for the wonderful people I met, which made my first and last experience at RMUN the best it could ever be. Thanks (in no particular order) Geelyn, Sam, Nadiah, Rebecca, Chrystal, Jia Chen, Alfred, Tamanna, Sindhu, Suren, Rekha, Kang An, Song, Elyssa, Marvin, Victor, Victor, Eileen, Eileen (haha!), Emily, Jun Yan, Doralyn, Wei Sheng, Ashwini, Sharleen & Kartik our dearest directors, and all the other special people there too. I love you guys! This would go on forever if I were to continue, so here's one last parting shot, as pictures say so much more than words:
And my shoulder got oh-so-sunburnt on 5th June, at Sentosa, Siloso beach(: At first the Excos met at Yee Wen's house at 8am to prepare the food and all. Later we cabbed into Sentosa, and waited for all the other councillors to reach Siloso beach as we set up the stuff under a shelter there. We met Christabel, Rezwana, Jie Ying and Chyan Wen on the way to where we wanted to put our stuff, so they followed us. After the rest of the councillors came (they were all LATE! tsk.) it was already 11+am, so we played just one game and then had lunch. I loved the nutella sandwiches, hehe. (Well, we DID make all the food. :D) All the games were so much fun, especially the photo-taking one! Haha! I think we scared a lot of people. Oh yeah, and we were seperated into two groups the the Carrots and the Coconuts! I was in the Coconuts, as well as Ying Min. Anyway yes as I was saying, the games were super fun! As well as the catwalk one and the dancing one.. although I hope no one ever sees me like that ever again. That was ONE TIME only, alright? So yes. It was just plain wrong, the dancing. ><
All in all, we had a really good time. Some of us went to bathe after everything (including yours truly), some stayed behind for a while and some went home. After that Ying Min and some of our juniors went on The Luge. Haha! I stayed outside to watch over their bags because I've been on it before. Then, we went to 7-eleven to get stuff to eat/drink, then went home by monorail and MRT.
Here's to the Coconuts! :D
Council is the love.
