Big Bang Theory: 2x06 - The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem
SHELDON. I love him so much. (“Three tines is not a fork. Three tines is a trident. Forks are for eating, tridents are for ruling the seven seas.” had me laughing harder than you'll ever know.) I also loved the speculation about his sexuality (“Everybody has a deal.” “Sheldon doesn’t.”) and the ideas about his reproduction (“I’m an advocate of mitosis.”).
ALSO. The Sheldon/Penny. It was amazing. (“I came here to request sanctuary!”) ♥
And Raj's “B to the R to the I-S-K to the E to the T… Ooh.” was hysterical. FTW.
How I Met Your Mother: 4x06 - Happily Ever After
I really liked this episode. I liked Stella's happy ending. I liked Ted's planned, angry, imagined (albeit ridiculously selfish) speech. I liked them hiding under the table. I liked their waiter. I liked Barney's hysterical line about Stand By Me (“He just pulled the greatest train dodge since Stand By Me. Well, not the first kid, but the other kids.”). I liked learning about Robin's father. I liked (okay, loved) the Canadian accents. I especially liked that they played Regina Spektor at the end. FTW.

2) See, every time I think Carter Bays & Craig Thomas cannot possibly be any more awesome, things like this surface. ILU, guys.
And as much as this show is about the capital-M mystery of who the Mom is, I also think the show could be called, “Kids, Here Are A Bunch Of Really Cool, Funny And/Or Emotionally Significant Stories That Happened To Me And My Friends In Our Late Twenties And Early Thirties.” Actually, that’s pretty catchy. If we find the right logo and look, I think we’ll change the title to that.
3) ... this McCain/Obama chart? I laughed so hard. The comments to the post at ontd_political have some other lovely suggestions.
4) Election day tomorrow. I'm nervous.
5) 'Be OK' is such a fabulous album. I can't believe I'll be seeing Ingrid Michaelson for the third time in a year in just a week. ♥ I'm so psyched, you can't even imagine. (Yes, Emm, I will take more pictures! ;) )
6) I'm going to go read some poetry. Fun, right? :P
