I'm halfway through the 1999 series Stark Raving Mad. It's got the most amazing cast ever. Tony Shalhoub, Neil Patrick Harris, & Eddie McClintock, all being absolutely hilarious. And serious, sometimes.
“Where are you going, to throw rocks and some carolers?”
“No, I’ve gotta go fix the antennae.”
“Oh, that is so sad.”
“I know, I really gotta get a dish.”
“No, I mean people sitting around on Christmas watching tv.”
“It’s what they wanna do.”
“Oh, come on! They want a Christmas tree, they want to eat turkey and sing songs. It’s the happiest day of the year!”
“Not for everyone.”
“Well, maybe if you tried a little harder…”
“You don’t get it, do you? You know, for some people, all Christmas does is shine a big, festive spotlight on what they’re missing, or what they’ve lost, or what they never had to begin with. Not every family is like Norman Rockwell. Some are more like Norman Bates. Did you get a good look a Phyllis?”
“Well, what about you?”
“I’m just like them. If the Nicks win, I’m happy.”
I'm really loving it. Next on the agenda: Ashes to Ashes, then Freaks and Geeks. (That is, if I have time to try out other shows while keeping up with current TV!) AND BONES STARTS TOMORROW. Even though it's been total crap for pretty much the last year, I'm excited to have new tv to watch.
ALSO. I'm so close to being done with my AP assignments. YAY. But it means I have school tomorrow. I still can't believe it. I don't want to go back! D:
Lastly, the new version of Firefox weirds me out. I don't like change!
