Possibly One of the Strangest Stories I've Ever Read On AICN

garunya and I were to team up and writer a musical for Broadway, it might look something like this. I mean, it's got music by U2, Julie Taymor directing, Spider-man, and a woman who is transformed into a spider for pissing off the gods. And hopefully it wouldn't be the train-wreck it sounds like. I love all those elements individually but I'm having a hard time imagining them all together. Maybe some inadvertently dumped two different musicals together: one being Spider-man with music by U2, the other being the adaptation of the Spider's Lament directed by Julie Taymor? (Although I never really pictured Sinead O' Connor as the protagonist of the story...) Or they got it exactly right. Either way, I'm mystified.
