Saint Darwin's Manning the Escape Pod!!!
Neil Gaiman's been talking about giving a scary book to someone you love this Halloween. An idea I think is fantastic, and completely support. In addition, I'm giving a few things free to all of you - Escape Pod bought my story "Saint Darwin's Spirituals" and just published it in time for Halloween! Spiritualized steampunk with golems and ghostgasms for your holiday. Huzzah!
Norm Sherman introduced it and Mur Lafferty gives it a great reading and I just couldn't be happier about the whole thing. (I'm in good company with Rachel Swirsky and Erin Cashier - so, you know, even if mine is not your thing, their stories are bound to be!

I had a blast reading Vylar's story earlier this year, and we thought it'd be an excellent way to start to bring Halloween month to a close at PodCastle. (Did I say start? Why, yes, yes I did!)
