Right Now, I Feel Like I Could Take On The Whole Empire By Myself
Famous last words, right? I should probably expect to get blasted by an Imperial Walker (or an editor) any minute.
Okay, you all know I'm not stupid enough to take on the whole Empire by myself. I have my Jedi and Wookie Liberation Crew riding shotgun in the Falcon online and off.
Anyway, all this because I've finished two stories I'm incredibly proud of. And I have a third that is halfway through the first draft. Right now, I'm Thomas Magnum looking into the camera and then pulling out in that Ferrari. I'm Indiana Jones leaping off the boat with the Cross of Coronado. I'm Doc Brown saying, "Roads, where we're going we don't need roads."
And I'm not even talking about the cool Podcastle stuff yet.
The funny thing is, I probably will get shot down tomorrow or the next day or the next week. I mean, so often, this is the best that it gets, you know? But this time, it's different. When I take a hit and get shot down? I've got a light saber and a grappling hook gun to take me up to the belly of the beast, gut it, and blow it into the next galaxy.
